Vigie Primates

We participated in the design of the new
Jean Merieux BSL4
laboratory in Lyon, France. Since many
constraints existed in this lab,
entrance restrictions in the experimental area
were applied. Therefore, it was
established that it is necessary to have systems
outside the laboratory that
monitor animals inside the experimental area. The
solution to this problem came
with our innovative Vigie Primates system.
This device not only measures animal activity but
also displays images of the animals
located in the restricted area.
